The 2016 Election will be remembered as the "No Confidence" Vote…

banner 1

Usually by this time the USMjParty has already picked someone to support in the Presidential Election.

Notably, it has been Gary Johnson in at least the last two Presidential Elections.

This time is different.  This time it seems that there is absolutely no one running for office that I, myself, or my Colleagues, including Head Chair/Colorado Chair Bill Chengelis, aka Wayward Bill;   Pennsylvania Tom Johnson; Maryland Jeffrey Kabik; Vermont Cris Ericson; Hawaii Kenneth Peeler, Texas Chuck Miller aka Damagoman;  Oregon Jim Johnson; Utah Rob Hawthorne and Kentucky Sheree Krider (myself), that we have felt worthy of our support online or elsewhere.

A few people will most likely stand behind Gary Johnson, although, I, myself, have lost interest in him lately.  I wrote a short article a couple of months ago, “Lord, it’s time for another Election – What do we do now?”, in which I list just a few basic reasons why I DID NOT like each of the Candidates this year.  I was seriously hoping that my Colleagues would step up and speak out for someone…But that has not happened – at least so far, and it’s running pretty close to Election.  If that changes, there will be an update to this Newsletter sent out!

Speaking for myself, I would like to be able to go to the poll and enter a “Vote of No Confidence”, and force the system to start all over again.  Maybe we could do better if we tried again?  The only problem with that is the fact that since Obama’s term is up, I’m not sure how the Government would operate until another Election could be scheduled as this has never been done in the U.S. before.

A motion of no confidence (alternatively vote of no confidence, no-confidence motion, or (unsuccessful) confidence motion) is a statement or vote that a person or persons in a position of responsibility (government, managerial, etc.) is no longer deemed fit to hold that position: perhaps because they are inadequate in some respect, are failing to carry out obligations, or are making decisions that other members feel are detrimental.  LINK

In the United States, motions styled as “no confidence” are only symbolic and are rare.  In organizations that use Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised (RONR), there is no motion of no confidence, although the assembly could adopt a motion expressing a lack of confidence in its leaders (i.e. a motion to censure).[11]  The United States Congress passed a no confidence motion against Secretary of State Dean Acheson in the 1950s[12] and considered one against Attorney General Alberto Gonzales,[13] but these motions are of symbolic effect only.  LINK

It would seem to me that it is time to add another option to the voting ticket – “NO CONFIDENCE”.  In effect, the low voter turnout is serving as a “no confidence” vote, as they refuse to cast their vote for anyone running on the ticket.  However, since these votes are not counted, they serve no purpose except to make sure that someone that is not worthy will get into Office.  We need to change that so that if people actually have “no confidence” in the people running for any given office they can readily make that known through the voting process rather than abstaining from the vote altogether.  I really believe that in this Election the “no confidence” vote would be the winner.

In the U.S. the Electoral Vote wins the Election.  Not the Popular Vote

According to Politics1 there are probably over 999 people running for the office of President in this years Election, though I did not bother to count them all!

There are virtually no qualifications required for anyone to run for the Office of the Presidency.  You would think that in this day of drug testing for employment and background checks for everything else as well, that when someone wanted to run for the highest office in the land that there would be a “background check” for felonies and a “drug test” – just because, well, everybody else has to have one so why shouldn’t the Government officials (and hopefuls) have to comply too?.  I bet that the list of people running for office would shrink dramatically if those two requirements alone were implemented.

Unfortunately, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, I am sure, would “pass the tests” the end result would be the same thing we have now – Two more billionaire idiots who do not care about anything but their own bank accounts running for the highest office in the land…and a bunch of dumbasses running out to vote for them!  I would be one of them!  Although I doubt I will actually know who I am voting for until Election Day itself.  You can never be sure what will happen between now and then.

Age and Citizenship requirements – US Constitution, Article II, Section 1

  • No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty-five years, and been fourteen years a resident within the United States. LINK
  • So,

From where I am watching, this Country is in very bad shape right now.  And the whole World, as well, is in a very uncompromising position.  The Atomic Clock is at “3 minutes to midnight”.  The news is getting worse everyday and that could be because it IS getting worse everyday, OR that the media as a whole is portraying it as such…Your guess is as good as mine! The Elections are now being overseen by the DHS and we are at constant threat of some kind of attack either by our own or by some other entity that may or may not even exist.  Food prices are rising steadily.   Children are being kidnapped right out from under us by CPS (Child Protective Services), a Government agency set up to take care of vulnerable children, not displace them.  Clean water is becoming more and more scarce.  There is absolutely no end to the trials and tribulations that may await us after the upcoming election.

The best thing I can think of to say about this event which will be remembered in history, is to think smart.  Very carefully review your options, and then vote with your conscience on Election Day 2016.  Our very lives may well depend upon what the Citizens of this great Country decide to do on Election Day!

VOTE for the FREEDOM of CANNABIS!  This includes all forms of HEMP!  REPEAL PROHIBITION first and foremost to gain a momentum to start cleaning up the mess that has been made by the Justice Department and the prison industrial complex.  That would be a good start.  Freedom to plant and consume Cannabis on our own property without fear of arrest or seizure.  This order should come from the United Nations and followed by every Country involved with the U.N.

True Freedom will begin to become a reality when total control of our food and water and medicinal plants are relinquished by the U.N., and therefore become “lawful” for us to possess and consume, as a people, once again.  This means that the U.N. must REPEAL those requirements and not take total control of our unalienable rights by the total regulation through the U.N. and Agenda 21 (Agenda 30).  Please note that I said “lawful” and NOT legal.  There is a difference, and that difference is the freedom to have unalienable rights that cannot be taken away by Government.  We must be very careful how we proceed from now on with this issue.  One wrong decision could enslave us forever.

While we are awaiting Peace and Prosperity, let us remember those who have been much less fortunate than ourselves, in any or all aspects of life, and give them help and kind words whenever possible.  Remember, if it hasn’t been you so far, it could be you in the future.

Gary Johnson predicts Obama will reclassify marijuana on way out of office

Gary Johnson, who ran for the White house in 2012 as the Libertarian Party candidate, now leads a national movement to allow third-party candidates in national presidential debates. (Associated Press) ** FILE **

By David Sherfinski – The Washington Times – Tuesday, March 29, 2016

Former New Mexico Gov. and 2016 Libertarian White House hopeful Gary Johnson says he thinks President Obama is going to remove marijuana from the government’s “Schedule I” list of narcotics considered particularly harmful and addictive on his way out of office.

“It’s going to be just like alcohol,” Mr. Johnson told The Washington Times Tuesday. “I’m going to predict that Obama, when he leaves office, is going to deschedule marijuana as a Class I narcotic. I wish he would have done that to this point, but I think he’s going to do that going out the door. That’s a positive.”

Marijuana is currently on the Schedule I list alongside drugs like LSD and heroin. The Drug Enforcement Agency defines Class I drugs as having a high potential for abuse and no currently accepted medical use.

Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton, among others, has suggested reclassifying the drug under Schedule or Class II. Those drugs include cocaine, but also certain painkillers like oxycodone that are available with a medical prescription.

Mr. Johnson’s campaign followed up by saying that the former governor would prefer that the president remove marijuana from the controlled substances list entirely, allowing states to legalize and regulate as they and their voters choose.

But the campaign said most discussion and a more likely near-term step has centered around reclassifying it to Schedule II, which would remove a barrier to prescribed medical uses, though they said that either move would be a step in the right direction.

Mr. Obama has said that Congress can move on such a reclassification.

“What is and isn’t a Schedule I narcotic is a job for Congress,” Mr. Obama said in a 2014 interview with CNN. “It’s not something by ourselves that we start changing … no, there are laws undergirding those determinations.”

Tom Angell, chairman of the advocacy group Marijuana Majority, said the attorney general and the secretary of Health and Human Services can move to get rescheduling done without further legislation under the Controlled Substances Act.

“It’s tough to predict what the president will do on this issue before he leaves office, but if he’s willing to uphold his pledge to set policy based on science, and he listens to the majority of Americans who support marijuana reform, he will exercise his administrative authority for rescheduling,” Mr. Angell said.

Mr. Johnson pointed out that there are still some “dry counties” in the country with respect to alcohol and predicted marijuana would eventually be in that same category.

“I think every municipality has to realize that all the planes to Denver every single weekend are filled up, and that they’re missing out, and Colorado is absolutely vibrant,” he said. “Is it due to marijuana? I think it’s a contributing factor.”

“I don’t know how long it’s been since you’ve been to Colorado, but I think you can sense vibrancy, and it’s there,” he said.

A short list of Candidates to choose from for the 2016 Presidential Race….

    3/18/2016

    ShereeKrider

It suffices to say that I am not at all excited about this years #POTUS ‘Race for the Whitehouse’.

There isn’t one Candidate that I have found so far, that has been termed ‘electable’, that I care to vote for.

But that is just my personal opinion and not worth very much by todays standards!

I am putting together my ‘short list’ of possible, electable Candidates to Office of the Presidency which include the Candidates outlined below.

The U.S. Marijuana Party will issue a statement prior to the election on who they are supporting.  As of right now we are still undetermined.

For purposes of this article, I am expressing my own personal thoughts on the subject.

I surely would not give Hillary Clinton my vote.  Here is “Louder with Crowder’s” rendition of 7 Undeniable Reasons You CAN NOT Vote Hillary

I can save everyone some time here and just say that I agree with everything he said!

Next we look at Donald Trump.  Wow, what a stage show!  A man who has never participated in politics in his life with the exception of lobbying efforts by the Trump empire. But according to him, “I Was Part of the Problem, But I Can Fix It”.   I have to admit I have some fear as to what would happen if this man were elected and for that reason I will withhold that vote.

Moving right along we come next to Sen. Bernie Sanders who definitely has his heart in the right place!  He is a “Democratic-Socialist” who aims to please all.  Well as much as possible anyway.

Democratic socialism, Sanders said, is not tied to any Marxist belief or the abolition of capitalism. “I don’t believe government should own the means of production, but I do believe that the middle class and the working families who produce the wealth of America deserve a fair deal,” he said.

Socialism, in any form or fashion, is a scary term for Americans, mainly wealthy Americans.  That being said we have already been engaged in socialism in America, having been moving in this direction intended or not, for many years.  If the people participate in the governing of a Socialist Democracy it should be very good for everyone.  Americans tend to be lazy when it comes to participating in politics and even when it comes to the voting process.  Yet, we are still basically a Democracy, (although sometimes that is hard to believe as well), and our Representatives and Senators include Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, and Independents, so we should have no problem holding onto our Country if we all show up to vote in ALL of the Elections.  It is time to start participating versus sitting back, watching the show and hoping for the best outcome!

I believe Sen. Bernie Sanders could be a viable option for the vote.

Additionally, we have Libertarian Presidential Candidate and former Governor of New Mexico Gary Johnson.

If you follow the opinion of Ron Paul you will subscribe to the theory that the Founding Fathers were more Liberal than Conservative although many will disagree with this thought.

“Libertarianism is, as the name implies, the belief in liberty. Libertarians believe that each person owns his own life and property and has the right to make his own choices as to how he lives his life and uses his property – as long as he simply respects the equal right of others to do the same.” Sharon Harris, President, Advocates for Self-Government LINK

Per Wikipedia:  Johnson has been a longtime advocate of legalizing marijuana and has said that if he were president, he would remove it from Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act as well as issue an executive order pardoning non-violent marijuana offenders.[128]

Gary Johnson was supported by the U.S. Marijuana Party in 2012.  He is up for consideration this year as well.  So far he is the only Candidate with a clear strategy regarding the drug war. However, I do not believe that the freedom of Cannabis will ultimately come with one Executive Order.  Legalization unto itself is becoming a legal nightmare for many.  Repealing the CSA and removing Cannabis/Hemp from the U.N. Convention on Narcotic Drugs is the only true way to REPEAL.  A Plant is a Plant, and Plants should belong to all of us. Not at the discretion of the U.N.  And yes, it should apply to ALL Plants.  Not just Cannabis.  But for purposes of the 2016 Election we will focus on Cannabis/Hemp.

Since Libertarianism is the only ‘party’ which gives back personal freedom to the people themselves this is the Party which I would definitely like to see more of in every office in the U.S.  We need Libertarians in every aspect of our Government to try to ensure our personal freedoms are not kicked out the window for good.  There is no other Party that seems willing to do this.  The Democrats and Republicans are Hell bent on destroying most any freedom we ever had in this Country.  Regardless of who you may vote for in the Presidential Election remember to consider the Libertarians as viable Candidates for all offices of Government in the future, for this reason.

Electability is another problem.  There is just not enough Press and Media support for a Libertarian Candidate or any other Third-Party Candidate for that matter, in this Country yet.  Why, I do not know except that as I pointed out before most of us do not bother to show up at the Elections at all and have been too comfortable in the past with who ever got the vote.  This is starting to change as people become more aware of what is going on around them politically.  We can thank Donald Trump for the wake up call of the masses.  If he isn’t any good for anything else he was definitely a good choice to get the attention of the people who had paid no attention before.

Could it be possible that a Third-Party Candidate, a Libertarian, could come from behind like a Kentucky Race Horse to dash past the finish line while everyone is looking and saying, “How the Hell did that happen”?.

With any luck we will hear more from Gary Johnson in the near future.  I would like to see what the Americans will do for this Candidate.  Will they even give him a chance and listen to what he has to say?  Or will we retain the old dog and pony show with the Democrats?  Or maybe we will make the jump to Democratic Socialism?  Or maybe, just maybe, the Electoral College will once again, disregard the Popular Vote and put who they want to put into office?

In the current Electoral College battlefield, 40 of 50 states have voted for the same candidate in all four elections since 2000

I invite you to browse the links which I have provided within this article and make an informed decision for yourself.  Think about what is important to you and your family and who is most likely to be able to provide that.  Personally, I would like to think that a vote for Gary Johnson would be put to good use.  It remains to be seen if He can prove himself electable.  Sen. Bernie Sanders is also a viable option.

Please feel free to leave your comments on this issue here or on any of our Facebook Plugins on the websites.

We are waiting to hear what your opinions on this are.  Your opinion counts here!

Ebola.com Purchased for $200K by Marijuana Company. And It Gets Stranger From There

    Garyjohnsonphoto - modified.jpg

    Oct. 23, 2014

Earlier this month, we reported that Ebola.com’s owner, a disease-obsessed domain name vendor called Blue String Ventures, was hoping to sell the URL for at least $150,000. Now, according to a report from DomainInvesting.com, Ebola.com has been sold to a Russian company that is apparently focused on the marijuana business.

Filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission show Ebola.com was bought by Weed Growth Fund for $50,000 in cash and 19,192 shares of Cannabis Sativa, a Mesquite, Nevada-based recreational and medical marijuana company that trades on over-the-counter markets. Based on Cannabis Sativa’s current stock price, those shares are valued at roughly $164,000, making the overall transaction worth just over $200,000.

So to recap: Ebola.com was sold to a marijuana-related company based in Russia that paid mostly in the stock of another marijuana company.

But the story’s not over yet. As recently as September of this year, Weed Growth Fund was known as Ovation Research, which according to this BusinessWeek profile was in the business of distributing “stainless steel cookware products for retail and wholesale customers in North America.”

Then, on Sept. 19, the company filed with the Nevada Secretary of State changing its name to Weed Growth Fund. (We tried to contact Weed Growth Fund by phone and email to ask about the deal and name change, but got no answer.)

Why would a marijuana company want to own the URL Ebola.com? Elliot Silver, DomainInvesting.com’s publisher, asked Blue String Ventures founder Jon Schultz this very question. And while Schultz replied that he did not know why Weed Growth Fund wanted the domain, he did send Silver to this Marijuana.com article in which Cannabis Sativa CEO Gary Johnson (the former two-term New Mexico governor and Libertarian Party presidential candidate!) claims that marijuana can be used to treat Ebola. (You can see him do it in this Fox Business interview.) Cannabis Sativa also did not respond to requests for comment.

So there you have it. A newly renamed, Russian weed-related company bought Ebola.com using shares of a medical marijuana business run by a former Libertarian Party presidential candidate who thinks that pot should be used to treat Ebola. And no, you’re not high (as far as we know). This really happened.

Libertarian Party Nominates Vice-Presidential Candidate Jim Gray

    May 22, 2012

The following information was released by the campaign of Jim Gray for vice president.

Fresh from winning the Vice Presidential nomination at the Libertarian Party annual convention last weekend in Las Vegas, Newport Beach Judge Jim Gray returns home to begin his campaign for office with Presidential nominee Gov. Gary Johnson.

The Judge Gray Homecoming will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. on the lawn of the historic Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, CA. For more information on the event, call 619.916-1249. A Question and Answer session will be held immediately following Gray’s address.

“I am proud. I am invigorated. I am excited. With Gov. Gary Johnson, I am determined to bring back prosperity and liberty to the United States of America.” Judge Gray said. “And, I am so grateful to all my friends, family and colleagues who have had a hand in this effort. And this was truly a team effort. It’s great to be home, but it probably won’t be for long,” he said smiling.

Judge Gray was declared the party’s Vice Presidential nominee after he won 59 percent of the vote, receiving 357 votes from the 600 delegates of the convention held at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas, NV.

A successful jurist who lives in Newport Beach, Calif. and presided over the Superior Court of Orange County, Judge Gray has been active in the Libertarian Party for several decades.

He was the 2004 Libertarian Party candidate for the U.S. Senate in California challenging incumbent U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer. He is also the chief proponent of a California ballot initiative called “Regulate Marijuana Like Wine” that, if passed, would decriminalize cannabis consumption and production.

As the Libertarian nominees, the Johnson/Gray ticket is expected to be on the ballot in all 50 states.

Accepting the nomination, Johnson said, “Millions of Americans want and deserve the opportunity to vote for a candidate in November who will get us out of the war in Afghanistan immediately, truly cut federal spending, end the failed war on drugs, repeal the Patriot Act, and support marriage equality. I am excited to offer that option: A proven fiscal conservative, a proven defender of civil liberties, and an advocate for social tolerance.”

IN SUPPORT OF GARY JOHNSON (LIBERTARIAN) FOR PRESIDENT 2012

    GaryJohnsonLibertarian

Previously in a post I had said that I would support RON PAUL as a write-in for the Presidential Elections in November of this year (2012).

I have since researched and listened to video’s and other information that would lead me to believe and support

GARY JOHNSON AS A LIBERTARIAN CANDIDATE ON THE BALLOT IN ALL 50 STATES FOR PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES IN NOVEMBER OF 2012.

This change has come about primarily because he IS on the ballot (vs. a write-in) AND the fact that he has said that RON PAUL would be his pick for his Vice-Presidential Candidate.

I don’t know how much better it could get.  We can have TWO for the price of ONE.

Below is some video and information on GARY JOHNSON (Libertarian).  Please view and make an informed decision BEFORE everybody runs to the polls to put a democrat or republican back in the White House!

That is something that I do not believe that this Country can withstand anymore at this point.  The time for the change has to be NOW NOT LATER – There may not be a “Later”.

LINK TO GARY JOHNSON 2012 WEBSITE

Gary Johnson has been an outspoken advocate for efficient government, balanced budgets, rational drug policy reform, protection of civil liberties, comprehensive tax reform, and personal freedom. As Governor of New Mexico, Johnson was known for his common sense business approach to governing. He eliminated New Mexico’s budget deficit, cut the rate of growth in state government in half, and privatized half of the state prisons.

    Drug Policy Reform

Despite our best efforts at enforcement, education and interdiction, people continue to use and abuse illegal drugs.

The parallels between drug policy today and Prohibition in the 1920’s are obvious, as are the lessons our nation learned. Prohibition was repealed because it made matters worse. Today, no one is trying to sell our kids bathtub gin in the schoolyard and micro-breweries aren’t protecting their turf with machine guns. It’s time to apply that thinking to marijuana. By making it a legal, regulated product, availability can be restricted, under-age use curtailed, enforcement/court/incarceration costs reduced, and the profit removed from a massive underground and criminal economy.

By managing marijuana like alcohol and tobacco – regulating, taxing and enforcing its lawful use – America will be better off.  The billions saved on marijuana interdiction, along with the billions captured as legal revenue, can be redirected against the individuals committing real crimes against society.

GARY JOHNSON will END the War on Drugs (Video)

    Civil Liberties

Civil liberties are so foundational to America that the first eight amendments to the Constitution address them directly. These amendments enshrine government’s duty to protect individual liberties, including the rights to free speech and free association.

But today, government has created for itself sweeping powers to monitor the private lives of individuals and otherwise intrude upon our daily activities, our households and our businesses. The extent of the government’s reach today would be unrecognizable to the Founders.

Much of the recent erosion in civil liberties has occurred in the name of national security. But we can – and must — combat threats to our safety while adhering to due process and the rule of law.

Gary Johnson This Is Your Freedom (Video)

THE FREEDOMS ON WHICH AMERICA WAS FOUNDED are now under attack from the very people charged with protecting and upholding them.
    • The PATRIOT Act should be repealed, which would restore proper judicial oversight to federal investigations and again require federal investigators to prove probable cause prior to executing a search.
    • Habeas corpus should be respected entirely, requiring the government to either charge incarcerated individuals with a crime or release them.
    • The TSA should take a risk-based approach to airport security. Only high-risk individuals should be subjected to invasive pat-downs and full-body scans.
    • The TSA should not have a monopoly on airport security. Airports and airlines should be encouraged to seek the most effective methods for screening travelers, including private sector screeners. Screeners outside of government can be held fully accountable for their successes and failures.
